I don't post here much anymore, but back when I first got my MINI I remember going through this thread and salivating over all the awesome wheels. Well I finally got a set and I figured this is a great place to share them. They're 16 inch 5zigen Fn01r-c wheels in hyperblack on Falken Ziex Ze 512 tires, bought from EdgeRacing.

you have a set oof these too right? they look great when they are shinny. i was going for the rustic natural feel.

you can tell i did a fair bit of driving to get there... it was totally worth it. dort and grime and all.

believe it or not they were cleaner on track day.

DJ_Konky,

What finish are your AR1's? In the photo they almost come off like the diamond black BBS RGR... Details on size, tires, springs etc.? They look great on your B/B.

Thanks,

Tim

AR1's are the normal bright silver finish, 17x7, tires are 205-45-17, springs are H-sport.

Thanks for the compliment! I'm gonna sell them in the fall/winter though. It was an impulse buy and I wanted something different than the stock S-lites, but now I want something different.

I thought I'd show my new 18s off

18" Zinik wheels with 215/40/18 Pirelli P Zero Nero all seasons

Rides pretty good with the 40 series, no rubbing or other issues, I even put a 300lb man in the back (me) and had my 300lb buddy drive around for a bit to make sure. The have just about the same diamater as a 215/45/17 so other than the first gear is a dog, they're great.

no they bolted right up...

like I said, no issues, no rubbing or anything! I even drove around most of last night with someone in the passenger seat and also someone in the back seat with no issues.

I do like the ride better than my 35 series on my MCS (same tires)

Google Hamann wheels there are a few places

Depending on what you want they are a "little" pricey

I've got the PG4 18" three piece wheel ($1100+ ea)

HM4 is the 17" one piece wheel (about $375 ea)

ASA LW5's in white. Not sure you can still get these easily

ASA LW5's in white. Not sure you can still get these easily. This was
the last 4 that Tire Rack had a few weeks ago. I still like white R83's better. Want to trade?
