I have already emailed BBS again about these LM wheels. If they build them they must bring them to the US market..

Or at least get enough members here together to buy them !!!

at $700 for each wheel(for the 5 lug in 17x7.5), they are a bit too steep for my budget. But I'd love to have them on my car.

ok, we can get BBS LM 17" 4x100 in the United States Talked with BBS today.

The bad news is 5 to 6 month special order and even getting a great hook from them the rims are very expensive !!

BBS said they have sent a few sets of these wheels to the US already so don't be surprised if you some people here rolling on them.

I have Goodyear F-1's in that size and they rock.

Too meaty? Go drive a Honda

18x8 Compomotive MO ET43mm + 215/35/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres ...
Cheers pyugala : 12kg + 10kg = 22kg per wheel/tyre (~ same as Slites+RF's , so not not light! )

why such a narrow tire on such a wide rim? A 215 should be on a 7 inch wheel. I am running 245/35/18's on an 18x8 wheel for my Subaru.

Your subaru has much wider wheel wells than the MINIs. try stuffing a 245 under the arches, you'll rub like crazy.

Also, I have friends running 215s on 9" wide wheels.

Yes - that's obvious....I know there is more room in the Subaru (up to a 275). What's the point of an 8 inch wheel without the tire to match?

Ricers...

It's senseless to buy wheels too wide for the car, then explain away a poor tire choice with fitment rationale. Just because the VW'ers have been doing it for years doesn't make it right.
