Yes RIMS ARE from ebay, tires are actually really good though. RIMS weight is not that bad either, anything is better than the Stock s-lights and run flats. Also being a fulltime college student and trying to work fulltime and pay my way for everything gets pretty expensive to I try to look for deals and cant by the best stuff like you PGT. sorry smart ***
sounds good. you dont need to spend huge amounts of money to

Hey Ken, really nice look you got there with the 17" SportEditions.
I wanted to double check your tire size shown in this pic. Are those the Sumitomo HTR+ 215/45/17s you mentioned on your 7.5" width wheel? If so, they fill out and look so perfect in profile and sideview.

thanks chiliworks!!
yep, tires are HTR+ 215/45/17. im getting slight rubbage on the rear over
HUGE bumps (full compression) while lowered on h-sports. i think it will
fix itself so i dont plan on dremeling the fender liner. it only rubs on one
part of the road during my 2hr drives so i usually just go around it.

Just installed my new tire/wheel combo today...MB Motorsports Drifter 16x7 38GBM with Hankook Ventus HRII H405 205/50-16 tires. I think they look awesome on the PW/B. A thankful shout out to PW '05 compatriot Japic (PW Peerage #90) who was my inspiration.
I am absolutely sold on Discount Tire Direct -- a fantastic transaction across the board. I didn't decide to order these until last Monday evening; they shipped (free!) from Texas and showed up on my doorstep four days later, mounted, balanced, and ready to install. Purchase included the chrome keyed lug bolts and centering rings which fit perfectly. Also got the replacement warranty certificates for only $10 each that are good for the life of the tire.
Tried out some twisties east of town this afternoon -- solid. Had SFAX up to 80 on some straights and the ride was as smooth as a baby's bootie.

Here are my new wheels. PIAA FR-S 17x7 in gunmetal with Nitto Neo Gen 205/40/17. Of course now with a smaller sidewall I need to get coilovers to close that gap.

Maybe he didn't realize how bad the shot was until he got home from taking the picture, but decided to share it with you anyways because he was happy about his new rims... give him a break
Of course you are correct. I'm sure the rims look great when visible, too.
Actually I have a better book than this thanks. New camera, but seeing has how you have already read this book please come and teach another dummy the proper way to use a DSLR. Thanks skillet I was pretty happy to post the pics of my car but apparently there are professional photogs and a@#$*&e here who would rather flame you that give a good suggestion.

It does not take a professional to see that your wheels are almost entirely invisible in that pic. Since you want a suggestion, here is one for the lay person and put in stark terms:-Prior to posting a pic to show off your wheels, it might be helpful to ensure that your wheels are visible in that pic.

Your DSLR should have come with documentation to help you. That is how I learned to take moderately discernable pictures with mine.
Some of the wheels here look great; some don't.
