Here's my MINI with Drag DR13 18", hope you like it
Man, now I'm bummed!! I love those wheels but I was hoping to pick up a set in gunmetal but the other day I went to the website and they were listed as discontinued! Anyone know if someone has a set of gunmetal or black ones stashed away somewhere?
Here's my new setup: Tenzo-R DC-6 version 2 in 16" in bronze with Falken Azenis RT-615 in 205/40-16:
That's definitely a short tire...the load rating of the tires is slightly lower than suggested. Any worry there? I was planning on going for a shorter tire, but all the load ratings seemed to be just shy of the suggested rating.

Looks good
The load rating is 83, a whole 1 number lower than the 84 of the stock run-flats [aka no big deal]. I'm not worried whatsoever considering my car is weight-reduced versus stock. FWIW, I've seen people running load rating "80" on stock weight MINI's and not have their tires spontantiously explode. [contrary to what MINIhune would prefer you belive, LOL, sorry hune had to poke you a bit there]
the falkens in that size have a steel reinforced sidewall. i think they are 83, which is fine unless u drive around with 4 people a couple tvs in the back all the time. i wouldn't want to go crazy though. i have taken a decent amount of weight out of my car and run with 83 rating everyday without a worry (no rear stuff though, seats, seatbelts, mounts, etc)
lol didnt hit refresh before post and got beat :-)
