Yeah, I'm temporarily living under my mom's roof, and welcome is wearing thin. Best to keep her happy for the next few weeks until I'm back in my place.

yah the wheels on that DS MCS are the sportmax 962's....another example of palo uber selling a wheel for a price much higher than the actual cost of the wheel.

The cast are 99% of what 5Zigen sells in the U.S. -- I think the forged models are special-order only. They are also about double the price.

on my recent setup i found that the passenger side rear slightly rubs
going over the same bumpy predetermined road... i just took it
another 10mph faster this time to see .... and sure enough it
rubbed. lol

i may or may not dremel it. it's not like the arch is going to fly off
and the rubbage only occurs on huge dips and bumps.

The 205/40's should prove to work well for him....but going with a taller sidewall or wider tire would possibly cause rubbing. I'm not sure on the availability of choice in the 205/40/17 size, but i can't imagine it's that bad.

On a 7 inch wide wheel, i always used 35mm as the offset that basically lines the wheel up with the edge of the fender fender.

I think his setup looks great

And they are VERY light weight. About 15 lbs. IIRC.
