My new wheels, for the track.

At the track. Exel wheels .

So-called S-lites.

12 pounds saved per wheel.

What over 3 hours of track time do to tires. The badge on the spoke came off all 4 wheels the first day! I have welded the "tuner lug" socket to a box wrench because the MINI lug wrench (and bolts) doesn't work.

I saw goin440 has the real Volk Racing GTC's NICE!, I also had the real thing in 19" on my Maxima (so I can speak from experience) and even up close they're very similar, hole slots different to accomodate universal 4 bolt fit, also less detailed bridging between rivets and not a two piece forged(centers only), but price wise I just couldn't turn them down, quality of the finnish is excellent, much better than the Enkei or ADR copies. I got all 4 brand new for $300. Where as I wouldn't want to tell you what the GTc's cost

goin400's GTC's:

My 19" GTC's (02 Maxima):

My 18 " Tenzo's:
I'll try post a better close up ASAP ( lots of snow right now so wheels are pretty mucky):

'91-'92 GTI BBS wheels, refinished? Yet somehow they look more modern. Do tell...

(quite sweet, by the way...)

Thanks guys

had 5 sets all together, have 4 sets as of right now, but 1 are my stockies(winter wheels).

The wheels are BBS RY II's, discountinued about a decade ago. I found these babies brand new in Germany and had them imported over a few months ago. I'm dying for spring to come to put these on!

My Mini's winter garb, with a fresh bit of salty detailing... Rage 16's with Dunlop M3s. Bought them from a NAM member last year.

The new MINI (still have the one in the sig below)

18" Motegi Racing RT5 / Toyo Proxes 4 tires. More pics to come... these will do for now. They do enlarge when clicked, I think.

question for you - any rubbing at all with 215 width RT615's? I'm looking at 215/45/16 RT615's....they run wide like 225's, so I was a bit apprehensive.

Oddly enough, just a tiny bit in the rear. Otherwise they're all good.

Yeah, pretty sure it's the fenders...I also suspect that my struts are not full strength...you should be fine, they're great tires as far as grip goes.
