Suggestions - Please!

Starting to go crazy. I need help. Decided to do some upgrades to my '06 MCSC. I liked the ride/handling of the stock 16" runflats so I got a set of 16" MB drifters and had a local chain (Mavis) swap them for me. Looked great but I got a steering wheel shake at around 75 mph. Brought it back 3 times and they have been able to get the speed that the shake comes in to change but, the shake is still there. I swapped the wheels around into different positions to get the best result but it is still there and still enough to drive me crazy. When the car is jacked up and the wheels are spun, it appears that the wheels spin true but there seems to be some runout in the tire tread surface. Could something have happened to the tires during remounting (stock dunlop runflats)? You can feel an out of round when going very slow 10-15 mph. At 75 plus it is as smooth as can be. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I can't take it anymore!
Thanks, Paul

i bet the tire is not seated correctly. best to have it remounted and
rebalanced on a hunter machine.

Yes, ask them if they do road-force balancing with a Hunter machine.

It could also be an internal tire defect, which is again, something you would need a Hunter machine for.

Thanks. What's the hunter machine and do we know who has them? Any of the major chains? Contacted discount tires who I bought the wheels from and the tech is concerned that they may have sent me the wrong mounting (centering) rings. I got black plastic ones that have a little bit of play in them and he says I sould have gotten metal ones and that they should have zero play. Make any sense? He is shipping me replacements. I would like to go the Hunter path if I can find someone local who has it and knows what to do with it.
Thanks again,
Paul

Problem 100% solved!!!!!!! The new metal centering rings from Discount tire did it. The plastic ones originally supplied with the wheels were not cutting it I guess. BTW, anyone know what the correct measurement is for the mini hub?
Thanks for the responses.
