Description:

I'm looking for an alta direct flow intercooler.
I got a bunch of good aftermarket/performance parts I can trade for or towards the intercooler or let me know how much you'd want cash wise and I if we come to an agreement i would be willing to then cover shipping too.
I'm looking for it for a specific reason and only a direct flow intercooler would allow me to complete a project I'd like to do..
Pm or respond to this post please...

i dont know why you want that , thats garbage , if you really want to make power do a front mount or water to air , its the only way , no intercooler you put on top of a motor works , it gets heat soaked , hot air rises , unless you want to cut a big hole on your hood

I do wanna cut a big hole ! I love that dual scoop look and how on earth couldnt it be better than stock so long as the core isnt over sized ??
sorry but front mounts are JUNK and as much as I love my grs charge cooler , it will be over kill for the stock sc on my setup.. it has acceptable iat as is I'm just looking for abit better and that direct flow would be good for my setup. I've had and very much like the grs motorsport ic too but again ,it's over kill for the setup and I already tested it on it..

I ran a DFIC v2 with the exit scoop and also the baby scoop and DFIC aerogel blanket… it out performed most other intercoolers at the time and I tried everything that was available except the defenders of speed intercooler
It’s recovery was second to none

the exit scoop made such a big difference, without it the intercooler was just ok … only benefit over stock was recovery time

I data logged everything with mynes software - should have kept the logs … never posted anything due to the tuner wars at the time as it was really toxic the RMW fan bois against everyone else

Problem is most of the stuff people say or quote isn’t based on any scientific evidence…. There are some knowledgeable people still around but not many lol

anyway good luck with the project

thx bud..I'm waiting on exact specs on that dfic from ausi. Hopefully it's not too large because I've found with all the ones I've tested , either they're too large , too much piping ( front mounts ) or they actually flow less than stock because of poor core designs.
unfortunately most companies applied the bigger is better theory when making the Ic. Then they post " claimed hp gains " lol...
I puke when I see those ebay or airtec intercoolers on people's cars.. unfortunately theyve falken fir the false claims and googles bad info.

exact size of the m7 DFIC - direct copy

also the m7 DFIC came with a hood scoop to better direct airflow into the intercooler - something you may want to chase after
