Description:
I have front & rear JCW OEM Springs that came off a 2013 R56 JCW. These would be a nice suspension upgrade for those who have the regular non-S version. A nice upgrade for S owners as well. These are a stiffer spring than the stock S spring.
Note, these are not the performance springs which are red.

JCW coil springs
Looks like the person who sold these were not from JCW but, these came powder-coated in red from John Cooperworks...
The base spring in the JCW was black. The red springs came with the Optional JCW Sports Suspension.
How does one determine which of the 3 optional front and rear JCW Suspension RED Springs offered are the proper ones matched to their car with options?
And, how do you identify same for JCW Red "used" springs? Do the JCW Red springs have color codes? Stamps?
From MotoringFile "JCW Sport Suspension Official Information"
3 Front Coil Springs: 31 33 6 782 728, ...729 & ...730
3 Rear Coil Springs: 33 53 6 782 731, ...732 & ...733

Just to note, these springs are a step up in stiffness from what is on a Cooper or Cooper S, and are a worthy upgrade for improved handling. They pair well with an upgraded shock. I currently have them on my R56S with Bilstien B8s.
Thank you for your input. We needed some clarification. 😊
These springs are a great upgrade for a base Cooper or Cooper S, without the sports suspension upgrade. I would also recommend that, if installing these, the MINI shocks be replaced with something like the Bilstein B8s, or B6s; the MINI shocks on the R56 are crap in comparison.
