I run to neg 3 in front when I am on the track but I know it could go more. I have never heard of anyone runing -6 and have not tried that with my car . I will try and see the next time I get it on the rack but in my case the camber adjusters might be the limiting factor. All i know is the ygo in far further that I would ever run them. Here is a pic of the front spring on my car . The dust boot is lifted to show the thickness of the strut itself.

It looks like the front springs are small enough in dia. to run lots of neg camber without having to pound back the body on the inside of the springs like you have to do if your running the stock springs. Am I right?
would it be possible to get these in lime green and black. honestly many may think this looks lame/ghey/lamo. i think that combo looks great and unique.

They are significantly more narrow than the stock sprngs so I would say you are correct.
i'm not saying i'd run 6. But as long as they allow as much as they say you do, that's fine.
Also, are the front and rear springs linear?
The rears are linear and the fronts for standard applications will be progressive. The stock upper spring perches are what determines this. If you are running camber plates with a linear perch you can use linear springs.

if i do decide to get the M7 Coilovers, they will be the 300/400 lbs/in spring rate. Are they also progressive?
I have noltec camber plates, so i'm not really sure

The first units in are with the prog/ liner setup. I will have to check and see when the heavier springs will be arriving . What springs are you using with the noltec's at this point? If you can measure your perch diameter we could figure something out.

We are staying with the sliver anodizing for the collars . We found that any color, once you put that adjustment tool on it a few times , starts to show silver scrape marks after awhile and begin to look pretty shabby. These will take repeated adjustments and still look a lot nicer for a longer period of time . Thats the plan anyway

Hi Randy,
I plan on using Ireland fixed camber plates. Have you tested both types of springs in the front? I wouldn't want to see a Megan type of bottoming problem in the front.

I have the progressive spring which will be out softest offering. Even with these I have had less of a bottom out problem than any of my previous 3 coil over systems. My favorite test is a really bad set of railraod tracks near the house. My previous best speed over without hitting the bump stops was 32. With these I have gone over them at 40 without hitting. A stiffer linear spring will be even less prone to bottoming out.

camber plates aren't in yet....will put them in when i get the coilovers.
I didn't order them, i bought them second hand Does that mean i can't use coilovers with them if they're made for stock springs?
All you need to do is measure the spring perch and then get springs to match. Can you ask the former owner what he used ? It will not be hard to come up with something that will work.
I may have my terminology wrong, but I think a spring "perch" is just a recessed/shaped area designed to accept the end of a spring. Here's an upper perch for a Honda Civic as an example:
If you look at the underside of the camber plate, there should be a recessed area where the top of the spring should fit. That's why there are different camber plates for different spring applications - since the diameter of the top portion of the spring is different depending on whether you have stock springs or coilovers, the upper perch on the camber plate has to be the correct size to match the spring application.
