*Fixed* Spring install rattle

I installed M7 springs and the passenger front rattles when it goes over bumps. All of the others don't rattle. I got all of the bolts back on. The passenger front also is a .5" higher than the driver front. Both front tires have equal air pressure. I took the shock back out and recompressed the spring and retightened the bolt. Any help would be appreciated.

Check that the shock is completey in the hub and that the pinch bolt is inserted into the guide on the shock.

When I wiggle the car back and forth it happens only on the right side. I think it rubbing the rim.

This isn't it.

Are the springs supposed to be fully compressed (touching each other)?

the top coils, yes.

do you have plastic wraps around the top coils? if not, it might be
chattering.

When the car is moved back and forth from driver to passenger I hear the rattle (passenger front). The coils closest to the ground are fully compressed. What is the plastic wrap?

you wrap this on every other coil where it's close to each other to
eliminate chattering.

There is a "guide" pc welded to the back side of the strut that fits into a slot on the hub. Check that this pc is not bent to the side and is inserted and the strut has bottomed out against the hub. The same thing you describe happened to me and this was the problem.

i guess as a lessens learned reminder from these folks, use a whiteout
to mark your struts and tower bolts, etc. before you remove from the car.

this will enable you to reinstall without having to figure out the hard way.
i use whiteout all the time to mark the direction and position of parts
when i remove it from the car. result: flawless installs.

Took it by my mechanic and he discovered that the bolt holding the bar that goes from the front swaybar to the shock was loose and rattling in the bracket.

The ride is better than the stock springs!!

Any news about why the passenger side is .5" higher than the drivers side?

I figured out what was wrong with the .5 difference. The hood of my car is .5 higher on the passenger side. When I measure with the hood up and go from the wheel well to the ground both sides are the same.
