SuspensionSprings, struts, coilovers, sway-bars, camber plates, and all other modifications to suspension components for Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
hardly seen any track yet, but the DZ's are pretty much like the Yokos ES100's except for a stiffer side wall, feels like riding on 16s (running the DZ's tire pressure ard 33~34psi)
Fair grip in the dry, not really fantastic in the rain tho'
I wouldnt do them again for my next set.
I do have another set of 15's Yokos AVS Sports. Those are a totally different, good wet and dry grip, just a tad loud on the highways..
Here's mine. Lowered approx 1" with H-Sport
Just ignore the woman in the background. She was tanning and she is a mean woman, so I was affraid to ask her to move
Here's one of my soon to be retired lowered Cooper.
For the record, I run King Springs (Aussie made) with 17 x 7 CSA Tecnics with 215/40-17 Toyo tyres.
there is something to be said about running smaller wheels. This is the exact look that me and vento were discussing with you
I know that I should have clarified - I love how low it is, and the wheel style is great too. I am personally still not a fan of the wheel size, though I would love that same wheel in a larger size (18 or 19), but I wouldn't ever talk negatively about it (unless of course I got all riled up as we have seen )
But for sure I am a huge fan of how low this car is and the style of the wheel, though I would probably high center on the speed bump in front of my house.
