I think it might have lowered more than that. I didn't take any measurements though. After a couple of days it was pretty noticeable in the rear. The ride is so much better though. I can't go any lower cause I'd destroy stuff on the roads on my commute.

Not much... You might have a settling tolerence of like ± 2mm or so but lowering is definetly NOT the goal of the JCW Suspension. The ride is great though, really the only thing I desired out of my JCW Suspension, that I think JCW should have made come with it, are upgraded Front and Rear Sways. While the drivability in town is AWESOME, once you start to load it, it has alot of body roll, so much so when my left side tires blew out a couple months back the suspension compressed so much my car almost flipped. But my car and I survived to see another day, and some huge *** swaybars.

The H-Sport Comp sways work awesome with it btw, a definite improvement and a must have imo.

Yes, I have the H-Sport Comp in the rear. I really have no need for the front. The JCW suspension seems to be more forgiving to me when it gets out on the twisty roads, especially if you hit a bump at corner entry to mid-corner. It soaks up the bumps better and keeps it more composed. Higher speed stability also seems to be better. I am very pleased with it.

I posted one with JCW suspension on. I need to look for a before shot and I'll repost them later. It is very subtle and I don't know if it will be noticeable in photos. When you do it in person you will notice it a little, but the JCW is not meant to lower a lot like most of the aftermarket suspensions.

(Your "there"s should be "their"s)

thanks,
tim

I've had it for about 3 weeks now. After the first week it does settle down a little lower. After initially putting the suspension on it didn't seem to look any different. I drive about 300 miles a week though, so after about a week it looked to get a little lower. The handling and ride are superb. The deal I got on it was also better than any spring+strut aftermarket suspension out there and it is JCW quality. I think the two most reasonably priced JCW products are the suspension and brake kits.

Do you have any photo't of how you trimed the inner wheel well to stop the rubbing. I have a set of Konig Profet 17 x 7.5 with +42 mm. I experienced rubbing on the rear wheels after I installed Goodyear F1 215x45x17. I was getting ready to have a set of Alta Pro Springs installed and the installer said that I was already rubbing and it would get worst after installing the springs. I would like to know where you made the triming for the extra space before I make matter worst. Happy Motoring!

Konky, stop slacking and wash that thing, jeez...

That must be like 2 feet from where u washed it. Super clean.

How have ur HSports held up, more importantly, how have ur struts held up? Is that why u are going to coils or do u just want to have the control?

Lillith before the lowering.

A picture of Lillith after the lowering. It's hard to tell that the car has even been lowered because I have 16" wheels with a 45 series tire.
