'05/06 Rear Camber Adjustment

I searched and I couldn't find it.

I keep hearing that the '05 and '06 MINIs have a rear camber adjustment. Here's the $64,000 question: Where is it? (photos if you got them. )

Thanks in Advance,

Dave

rear camber adjustment

I believe you are refering to the star wheel on the bottom of the lower control arms.

I don't have a picture (too dang cold to lay on the ground under the car right now) but the early '05s (2004 build) didn't have the camber bolts in them. Only January 2005 and forward have them.

its a cam bolt like BMWs have. Still not nearly enough adjustment for a lowered car though, I had -3deg each side with iot all the way out!!

Would adjusting just the rear camber make an improvement to the cars street handling?

Not really, since there is already about -1.5 degrees in the rear from the factory. What you need for better handling on the street is a rear sway bar and more front camber.
