I saw the pictures that DinD posted with his 215/45 Falkens on the R84 rim. Since you borrowed them for the autocross (I think that is what the picture said), I'll assume they did not rub on your lowered car? H&R springs, correct? That's the setup I want.

LifeisGood,

As long as you go with a 43mm offset or better, you won't rub. The X-lites are 48mm, so you have a ton of room.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Kevin,
Glad to hear that you like the Magnaflow. I would still like to hear it sometime.
I'll post photos of my car with the springs on and give a full rubb report (hopefully not too much of that).

Are you guys thinking about the Solvang thing next month?

Cheers,

hey where did u purchase those hamann rims? how much did they run you......im thinking of getting a whole new rim/tire package mainly for the drier months here in NYC and Connecticut.......The hamman rims are nice and I also like the BBS RK or RK II's, i dont know if you've seen the BBS in the plasma color coating.....they are sick, especially cause i have a dark silver S w/ black roof & mirrors....I dunno yet what i expect o do?
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE NICE!!!

Also, do u think its worth being stuck with a flat tire (when it happens) for better tires other then running on the runflats?

Wanted to bring this thread back to life. On the subject of the 18X7.5 inch rims with 215/35 series tires, anyone have anymore to say. Do they rub a little or at all? I almost never have anyone else in the car, and when i do its at an autocross with my 15's.
