H Sport Camber Control Arms

I have the H Sport springs and Madness swaybar, 16" wheels with Bridgestone S-03's. After 8k miles, the inside edges on the rear tires are slightly cupped/feathered (as somewhat expected). I am considering buying the H Sport Camber control arms from Randy at Webb Motorsports ($242/pair). I want the control arms to primarily get longer life of my tires. I do occasional track/school days. Question to those that have done this mod, is there any downside to doing this?

Not sure you'll gain much, if anything, in tire wear, UNLESS the springs placed the rear camber well outside the stock range.

I believe the outside edge of stock camber on the rear is -1.5 degrees. If your rear camber is more than that and you're not looking for more cornering power, then yes, the arms will help because you can reduce the negative camber back into stock range. That will help with tire wear.

Perhaps more importantly, rotate the tires more often, 3k-5k is much better than 8k - that is too many miles. I rotate mine after each track day.

There is one downside. The H-sport bars are well made but the bushings do not hold up well at track days. That, of course, depends on how hard you push the car. I can tell you that I lost one bushing after 1 and 1/2 track days. The ones that did not fall apart were well compressed...

no downside, and on another note and not to take a sale from randy but I have a set of the arm I bought for my daughters car that we decided not to lower afterall.

If you are interested I will sell them to you for $230 shipped.

They are new and have never been installed

NO Downside that I can think of. I've had mine on for about 7000 twisty miles, bushings are still in one piece (issue on certain batch).

You'll notice that poly bushing absorb more road vibration when going thru hard turns. Not sure if that's good or bad, but I like it.
