Which direction does front sway bar bushing go

Really silly question, but I pulled apart my front sway bar a couple months ago and now have new bushings to replace the old ones, and they don't have a direction on the bushing to say which direction. Is the open part towards the front of the car, or the back? If that makes any sense. The part that allows you to install the bushing over the sway bar - is that opening towards the front or back of the car? Thanks in advance.

Just an FYI that I discovered, at least from Mini, is to put the opening towards the rear of the car. I'm sure it does not difference though! Thanks for the help
