Suspension Spirited Alignment after coilover install
"Spirited driving" alignment after coilover install
Hey All - Did a bit of searching and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.. Background - Installed Megan Racing EU coilovers and a WMW RSB about a month ago (non daily driver) and finally have the ride height where I want it and want alignment specs that will be best for fairly spirited road driving.
I've seen a fairly general consensus on here that -1.5 to -2 camber in front, and -1 to -1.5 camber in rear with zero toe all around is a decent setup for daily driving while allowing you to also drive aggressively.
My question is this - is zero toe a good idea even if those camber numbers aren't achieved? These coils don't have adjustable plates, but I do have adjustable rear camber links. Ride height is about and inch and a half lower than stock I believe - about and inch wheel gap in rear and maybe 3/4 in in front. (2005 R53)
Any help is appreciated, and let me know if I'm being completely ignorant with my info and details!

For a spirited street alignment based on your set up, go for 1.7° camber front and 2° camber rear, and 1/32” toe in on each corner.
The toe in will help with straight line stability, and the slightly extra rear camber will help the rear tiers hold the bigger rear sway bar from snapping the car around.
