Inner Tie Rod Removal

I'm planning on replacing my tie rods, and I am curious how hard it is to remove and replace the inner tie rods? I took my car in for an alignment, and the tech said the inner and outer tie rods were seized, so I want to replace the whole assembly. Anyone have any insight on the process? Thanks!

Buy an inner tie rod removal tool and it's easy. I don't think you can get channelocks or a wrench in there so an inner tie rod tool is the only way. One that slips over the inner tie rod after you remove the outer tie rod. Many for cheap on amazon or I think HF also sells them. You can also probably rent one from your local auto parts store.
