Suspension r55/r53 rear sway bar question

r55/r53 rear sway bar question
I've found a used 22mm sway bar that was taken out of a 2010 clubman S. It comes with the brackets and rubber bushings. My research on the parts finder shows that the r55 and the r53 both used the same stock 17mm rear sway bar.
Am I correct that a sway bar out of a 2010 Clubman will fit in a 2006 MCS??? Am I going to have any issues with the end links or the bolt pattern to the frame?
Thanks in advance.

*Yes the 22mm sway bar is aftermarket... I was just making sure the original sway bars that both cars had when stock, were the same.
And BTW... the ATI super damper kit I bought from you guys a couple weeks ago arrived quickly and installed easily. Thanks

A few more details on what I'm thinking.... I will gladly take all input.
I have a 19mm H&R rear sway bar currently. It has two adjustments of which I started in the softest and moved it to the the stiffest about a month ago before a day at the track. Going to the stiffer setting on the 19mm felt good but (no expert here) I feel like it needs more??? Maybe I'm wrong but the plan is to put the Madness 22mm (three adjustments) in on the weakest setting and compare. If it's good, I'm good with room to grow. If it's to much, I'll put the 19mm back in and keep the 22mm till I have more suspension work done. I got a great deal on it so I feel like it's worth a shot.

Go with one of our Hsport Comp rear sway bars and put it on the middle setting it is ideal. It will weight only 5.5 lbs so much lighter than a solid 22mm bar, and the bushings on these bars are the best as they actually hold the grease so you don't get noises.

Just for your idle curiosity, here's a comparison from a different brand. The figures may not be the same but will at least give you an idea of what you are dealing with with the two bars you are talking about.

ALTA 19mm Bar Setting #1 115% Higher Rate / Effective Rate =135 LBS/IN

Somethng I like to do when people start asking ignorant questions about these cars is to invite them to grasp the rear fender well on their appliance and lift. It always comes up a little. Then, do the same on my car. It don't budge. The look on their face is worth the price of admission.
