Wheel Spacers: $50 vs. $170???
So I've decided to put wheel spacers on my '07 MCS; however, in searching for a couple sets to buy I've noticed the prices vary greatly. There's not a lot of discussion about quality. My question is is a $50 set of wheels spacers as good as a $170 set? I mean, what can the difference really be, besides alloy quality, finish, weight?

The pricing I'm sure has to do with thickness as well. You can get some run O the mill 5mm spacers for $50 but for a set of good quality 12mm spacers WITH bolts you'll pay $220-ish. I'm sure the $50 set and the $170 set definitely have a difference in quality. Keep in mind you shouldn't go cheap if you want a precision built quality product.

We actually have our own wheel spacers because we wanted them to be quality but affordable. Some features we did what 2 sets of holes to reduce weight and make them easy to install. Also making sure they were exact hub centric to fit the hub perfect and not move around. And lastly cut a very fine groove on the face of them to reduce the contact area on the face of the rotor to keep it from corroding and sticking to the hub over time.
