Pilo upper rear strut bar
...ah, it makes a noticable difference. The rear of the Mini's chassis is not nearly as strong as the front. Install it now, it does not affect the seat back position.
Install a front strut bar too, but do your home work; if you plan to install camber plates, some strut bars do not work, some are integrated with camber plates - the Webb camber plate/strut bar combo - $750.00
You should always seek out ways to strengthen the chassis first before moving on to heavier spring and damping rates.

Just wondering on how you plan to back that up? Have you had one installed yet?
It seems that you are challenging a member that has one and tracks his car regularly, and you have never even had it installed on your car? That doesnt seem to follow any sort of logic
Again, i will ask that you keep an open mind until you actually test these products yourself...cheers
Speaking of strenghtening the chassis...look at these pics i found over on a japanese/german tuning company's site...pics are small, but looks promising

the point of proving your assertions is, duh, to prove them!
whether the claims are increased chassis stiffness with the brace, or no increased striffness with the brace: without proof, they are challengeable claims.
I refine my statement:
the onus of proof is on he who makes assertions.

I like this statement better. A few members have noticed a difference (for the better) after installing this bar.
