R50 Coilovers question. Any help appreciated!

Hello all! I should get my coilovers for my R50 in a couple days. A couple questions: This is my DD, I hear that aftermarket camber plates are not absolutely necessary for a street dd. Is that correct? Can I get away with just the stock type plates (replaced 20k ago)? Another question, I am running 215/45/17 on bbs's (not sure offset). I am wanting to go down at least lip of well to tire and maybe a bit lower. Do I need spacers for that not to rub? I have seen such mixed answers on that one. Some don't need spacers, some need 5mm etc, etc. I also plan on getting rear adjustable control arms for camber in a few weeks but don't mind the negative camber until then. Tires will be replaced next month as well. I am just trying to get all of my ducks in a row so install will go smooth. All help very very appreciated!!

If your trying to really slam it you.ll need the extra neg camber in the front to keep the tire from hitting the fender trim. So no spacer wanted, which would push the tire out even closer to the trim.

Thanks a lot for the reply. So it is ok (will work) for now to have just the coilovers in the front, right? I will be adding camber plates soon, but just for good measure and more to work with. How about for the rear? I am running a 215/45/17 on I believe a 9" wheel at the moment. When I lower the coilovers the rear will automatically camber in quite a bit itself, correct? Without adjustable C-arms (which I also plan on getting withen a couple weeks)

That is correct. The rear will camber in more than the front as you lower it. Look in my gallery at mine. I have the Megan Coilovers that have the adj camber plates built in, and also have the adj rear control arms for the back..

Very nice ride, man. And sounds good. I get my tires at cost and can get a set of 205/40/17s for 200 bucks. That's my main thing, is how low can I go on my 215/45s without adjustable arms or camber plates. So I guess I'll just keep my 45s on there to see if they rub first. Hopefully there won't be a problem since its a 7.5" wheel.
