I ordered mine from Tracy at PSI , was suppose to take 6 wks , ended up being almost 3 mths. Was not PSI's fault - can't rush Ohlins i guess......
I got mine 3 weeks ago , seams like Ohlins would have made a few more sets of they tooled up to make mine.... odd

Thanks for the Wagner recommendation, after a completely OCD comparison of all the alternatives that is the one I have settled on. I decided to prioritize suspension mods first, then power. It took a while before I could pull the trigger on the suspension, but now that I have that out of the way I'm feeling the FMIC itch big time. Then a tune...

The roads in my neighborhood were laid out by just paving over the deer paths, they are a confusing tangled mess of tight twisty roads and often very bumpy. Driving last night it was amazing how much better the car feels with the Ohlins, it reminded me of my old 3 series BMW in how smooth and controlled it was, and still with instant turn in and great steering feel. I haven't driven a Mini with anything other than the stock suspension so I can't compare to other coilovers, but the Ohlins are worth every penny.

Does anyone think springs rates of 285/230 will be too soft? Especially compared to the stock Bilsteins, which I think are too soft.
Sounds a little soft to me. I would try to be in the 300-350 range.

EDIT: We've run 350/350, 450/450, and now run 450/600. The 350 square setup was by far the best compromise street/auto-x setup. The 450/600 setup is pretty uncomfortable on the street.

Thanks for the advice. In regards to that, KW TSW V2's might be the best bet.
