Extremely specific question....

I have a very specific question for you all. I have a 2007 Cooper with AP coilovers and they are fully down on the rear and half way down on the front...but want to go lower up front, now i come to my question.

The tyre (215/35/18) is very close to the height adjuster (2/3mm maybe) and am worried that if i lower it more the tyre will catch on the height adjuster or springs. So how low are people with a similar set up to me:

7.5x18, et38 wheels
215/35/18 tyres
AP coilovers

im planning on giving a bit of camber (the pushing the suspension strut in).

Any advice is great, really wanting to go lower.

just been looking at spacers and my local auto shop stock 3mm and 5mm spacers...not sure if 3mm would be enough but think 5mm may be too much, the tyre is already in line with my wheel arch trim and was hoping to get the tyre slightly more in the arch with a bit of camber :/

Try the 3MM first. The 5 MM may start to rub on the fender side.

How much front negative camber are you going with?

.

Not sure about 3 mm but with 5 MM I would get longer bolts.
