Foam injection in frame

but in the int/ext mods section

I'm looking to add frame rigidity, looks like a good option, anyone wanna chime in with more info?

I would be very hesitant about doing this on a car that is daily driven. Mostly due the fact that the foam could trap moisture in different places and begin oxidizing the frame/body structure. However in a race application I could see this being a great idea.

these are areas that water gets into anyway... i live in southern california, i'm really not concerned about that.

Being in Cali you are not used to seeing cars all rusted out. Here in the salt belt we are. I am sure that it would add some structural stiffness. How much is a guess. The MINI is a pretty structurally stiff car as is. Why the need for more stiffness? Are you going racing? If so a full cage would add stiffness & safety.

A TSW/WMW x-brace would be simpler, cheaper, and not cause future issues...a full rollcage for a track car would be better...
There is a reason why some things are not popular...
Do not think "foam" will be light either...I bet it would add 50+ lbs, and still not stiffen the connections between the subframes..this is where much of flexing occurs.
