Cross Coilover endlink question

Can anyone with Cross Coilovers help answer a question for me? I bought my Cross' used and they did not come with the endlinks. I can make endlinks, but I'm wondering what the length is on the Cross endlinks that originally came with the coilovers. The mounting point on the Cross' is much lower than stock, so standard adjustable MINI endlinks do not work. Any help on the measurement would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Are you in a hurry? I can check my fronts on Saturday while I'm taking my CROSS rears out, but I can check the length sooner if you're already in the middle of doing the swap and need the info right away.

No worries - if this is something I can measure just by taking off the wheel, I'll be able to do it tomorrow.

It's definitely something you can do just by taking off the wheel. I just need the length from centerline of the top ball stud to the centerline of the bottom ball stud. Doesn't have to be too exact, but within 1/4 inch would be great.

Okay, there's a "nib" on the back of each end of the endlink that shows where the center of the threaded ball stud coming out of the other side is. I carefully measured from the nib on the top to the nib on the bottom and got 28.5 cm.

Because the ball studs face in opposite directions, the "nib to nib" distance may be a *tiny* bit longer than the true length of the rod between the endlinks, but you'll be fine as long as you put a couple of threads at each end for adjustment (which you're probably doing anyway so that you can corner-balance the suspension)

Hope this helps - let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you so much for taking your time to help Scott! You're a life saver! Exactly whatI needed and I'll finally be able to get my front swaybar reconnected.

Glad I could help. I wish you were local, because I'm going back to the stock setup on my car and need a set of factory endlinks - we could have just swapped!

Don't you need to keep those endlinks to sell with your coilovers?
