H&R sport performance or H&R RSS

i just recently purchase a 2008 MCS for spirited daily driving, and i want to upgrade my suspension. The current sport suspension is comfortable over bump but is too soft in the corner. My goal is to improve handling and to eliminate as much body roll as possible, which is why i narrowed by choice to H&R RSS coilover. However, there is an amazing deal on Amazon for H&R street performance going for only $280. Now i am on the fence to which one i should get.

I won't mind paying $1300 for RSS if i know it will eliminate much more body roll then Street Performance. But if Street Performance is not that far behind RSS in term of prevention body roll then i'll go with SP, plus with SP I will have a smoother ride?

It is stated that H&R street performance on Amazon is for Clubman S 08+.
I have read another member on this forum said it should so fit r56 mini. Can anyone confirm this?

I heard Eibach is pretty soft, and i want riding on rails feeling. Thats why i decide to go with H&R RSS. The deal on Amazon made my decision more difficult.

as much body roll as possible
I have the H&R RSS and I can tell you they are stiff. In some cases for daily driving they are really too stiff because it will feel bumpy over any imperfection in the road... BUT they are tight around the corners... no doubt about it. I like them but I definitely drive on the spirited side. Taking my wife for a cushy drive is pretty much out of the question and she gives me the look everytime I whip through a corner... mainly because the Mini's cornering capabilities with the RSS far exceeds what her minivan can do. So it will depend what you want to use them for.

Ok, made my decision and order H&R street performance coilover. Total came out to be $529.64. I hope it will fit my 2008 MCS, and i hope it would provide firmer ride and drastically reduce body roll over stock sport suspension.

I've run H&R RSS for over 80k now spun almost completely down and they are toast. Handling in the corners is still amazing though. A few of my buddies refuse to ride in the passenger seat for fear of internal injuries They do have a lifetime warranty so you can send them in to be rebuilt. One of these day's I'll get around to it. Go with the RSS

From what I've heard, they're not SUPER aggressive, but still nice.

Did your order go through? I might buy them to put my own spring rates on as I don't like soft progressive springs.

Take an assload of pics when you get them!

I am waiting for it to come, i also purchased rear shock bushing on Waymotorworks for $25 shipped. I'll take some pictures once it gets here.

I'll probably give H&R a call if my car lowered too much . I heard they are replacing front springs with tall springs for free.

Can you measure the inner diameter of the spring perch? I hope it's 60mm so I can use some springs i already have.

EDIT: and compare the strut length up front to stock....to see if it the strut body is shorter to add bump travel.

Sorry to ask so much!

Thanks!

- Andrew
