I believe any warranty claim will be up to the discretion of the dealer/MiniUSA. However, denying a warranty claim needs to be supported with evidence that the damaged part is because of your modification. As far as issues with lowering your car goes- your struts are probably the main concern if you're doing springs only. In other words, if your engine blows, they cannot deny a warranty claim based on the fact that you lowered your car. Or at least I don't believe so. :P

well here in orlando, someone lowered thier clubman and afterwards the radiator hose came loose and was rubbing on the ground without them knowing. the engine overheated and I think they kept driving and blew the engine...... the dealer denied warranty because if the car was not lowered the radiator hose would not have rubbed a hole on the ground.......

Well that covers it well. I'd check with "your" dealer and make a note of who you talk too and what was said. I've also heard some dealers deal with different springs differently based on how much a given spring lowers a car.

By the way, how low does a Clubman need to be to drag a radiator hose?
