Suspension goodies arrived, but..

Hi friends

My suspension stuff arrived from Alta via FedEx today. M7 Coilovers and Alta 22" rear sway bar:

I'm very happy, but two things concern me.

1) I did not receive any installation instructions for the M7 Coilovers. I am not sure how to do adjust the height, etc.

2) This troubles me (notice bracket on right shock)

The likely cause is impact during shipping (unless its supposed to look like this!). I have not touched it. Do you think I should push it back to the original position?

I am planning on installing everything myself next week!

Yah, just push it back to regular position. It's super soft metal on those tabs. I bent it a few times just wiggling the coilover around in the hub.

This appears to be the directions. You may want to print them out before you have your coilovers installed.

I'm still surprised in this day and age someone could ship something without directions.

Did you get the inserts for the rear trailing arms (for the rear shocks) with the coilovers? The ones on the OEM shocks are hard mounted...

I wasn't referring to wheel spacers, if that's what that thread is about (which it seemingly is...)... You should need a set of inserts for the rear control arms, in order to install the rear shocks - they look like this, and fit between the shock and the rear trailing arm:

Sorry, I know what you're talking about and I thought I mentioned them in my earlier post.

Alta threw them in for free with the coilovers and M7 would do the same thing if you ordered it from them.

You're lucky. M7 charged me $50 for those inserts which should have been included for free.

You win some and you lose some. Alta had a sale right after I purchased some stuff from them, but no biggie..
