Suspension Help! Koni rear strut install issue
Help! Koni rear strut install issue
I am in the middle of installing my Koni yellows - fronts are done, but I have a major roadblock with the rears. I know that I have to enlarge the holes in the spring seat and the large washer to clear the larger spindle of the Koni - already done. But there is also a 3cm long metal sleeve that keeps one of the bushings from compressing. In reading other posts, it sounds like Koni provides the a replacement sleeve with the larger ID, but I got the Konis used and they didn't come with the larger sleeve. Do I have that correct? If so, then I guess I'll have to drill out the one I have or machine a new one.

No more roadblock - I managed to drill the sleeves out with a hand drill - the steel wasn't as hard as I feared it might be. The car is all back together now - Koni yellows, TSX springs, IE camber plates.
