Have you?

And Oh, BTW, why are you wasting MINI people's time on this silly discussion? Is this in any way relevant to discussion of the CG of a MINI?
You're the one that told me to take a physics class...

Anyway, I'm glad you can read. Try to comprehend it next time.

Hawking doesn't write books very often. Try to read something yourself, if you are able.

Nothing like a good old-fashioned totally-off-topic pissin' match...

...try centroid mass axis or center of mass...I too get confused when I read about the center of gravity, but it typically refers to, thru analogy, a spinning body whos mass is at the center. The centers of gravity in a car are conveniently located above each axle as a way of showing how this mass center is involved in roll...though the center of mass actualy rotates around roll centers...which move around a bit - complicated. The mass centriod axis defines a point by which if a string were attached and the car spun in a plane equal to a level road, it would in theory spin horizontally about a vertical axis without tipping/listing in any direction.

Roll centers determine the geometric path of roll since these are determined by suspension geometry and the center of mass determines how much weight is transfered thru these paths based upon weight distribution, bushing deflection and resistance from springs, dampers, and swaybars...oh and TSW X braces - just keeping on track...hey, a punn!!!

...hopefully I explained this correctly

So the X-brace by stiffening the chassis helps keep the weight from transfering as far to the outside in a turn.......

...no, just keeps the centroid axis from running over the manatee in steady state

Keep this up and we'll have manatee TV commercials like the "caveman" insurance commercials.

Wait....all those marks on the back of manatee's are not caused by errant boat propellers but by TSW X-Braces?

Wow, is there anything the X-Brace can't do?

Judging by what I've seen walking around at AMVIV,you may only have to send a P.M. to find the "trophy" manatee of your dreams....uh oh.

OK, this has to be one of the best O.T. drifts in quite a while

OTOH - the X-brace is on my X-Mas wish list even if it puts me in a different AX class for next year. The TSW guys are (local) friends and I've been very happy with everything I've purchased from them; and other items I soon will, including a BBK. And they stand behind what they sell!

I thought those were called "tramp stamps" but never would have guessed the X-brace was the source
