We needed a R53 and a R56 for a test fit on a front strut brace and a 4 point brace. Anyone local to us will be great !

It's a GTSPEC front strut brace and GTSPEC 4 point under brace - (www.gtspec.com). This is an attempt to test out the European market for the GTSPEC suspension lines.

Sounds sweet! I've been waiting for someone to come out with the under brace.

 

what's involved in the test fitting? and how long would you need the car? I'm located in Holbrook....might be interested

 

we have the prototype brace already. Just putting it on the car, take some product shots .. and the brace is yours for free !

 

I would do it but won't have my mini for another 2 weeks.

 

I have a 2008 R56. I live in Hauppauge and work in Huntington. I'm 100% down for this. Is it easy to remove for my SCCA days?

 

Let's get this done!! And then RavSpec, put me on the list for a under brace!!

yeah, I am still waiting for the brace to come in. We have a delay at the factory. Looking at Oct 1 air shipment from Taiwan.

 

I have an R56 one hour from u guys... I could b there next Friday if u still need an R56 still... I Donno if strut brace would work with my DDMWorks race intake... But I don't have any suspension done except rear swaybar so far

 

yeah, that will be great ! we still need a R56, next Friday will be great !

 

I could also be there today at 5 if u wanted

 

if you can make it by 5, that will be great. Another R56 can come in around Tuesday, but if you come in today, we will use your car !

do you still need an R56? i can come out early mornings until mid day any day of the week if necessary..

 

i do need a stock R56 to test the lower 4 point brace. we tried it on a R56 with the 3" exhaust, won't clear.

i have a custom built 2.5 inch exhaust....do you think we will have issues and follow through with the test-fit or should we just forget about it?

 

how about DP ? the 4 point is where the bend from the engine is at ... is the custom built exhaust close to there ?

 

its a full turboback exhaust. no cats (dont tell the cops....) does that change anything that there are no cats? if you need a COMPLETELY stock car - i may be able to borrow my cousins r56S and use that.
