Suspension about to buy some Megan coilovers...got some questions
SuspensionSprings, struts, coilovers, sway-bars, camber plates, and all other modifications to suspension components for Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
Ah! so If I were to purchase the megans. Would I be able to lower them to were there would be no visable gap in the wheel well? I dont want to have them tucked, just no gap.
I figured I'd drop these in for reference, both Dopamine and I are running the original V.1 megans, I got mine from Rally.
If you can buy an old set you'd be good.
You can also get a new set, and change up the springs to a shorter version to achieve the same drop...
Dope has his wheels tucked so there is really no gap and I can fit 1 finger between the top of the wheel and the fenders.
so there is really low wheel gap...
Depending on your wheel size you could pull of either..
Hahaha front and back? Good luck turning That may be hard to achieve with any of the coilovers out there. Tucking rim, even on 18's will be pretty hard to achieve.
I've got airride and I'd tuck 18" rim but it's a really far drop to get it to tuck that much.

What size tires are you running. I'm sure that the V3 megans would be able to get rid of the gap if you don't want to tuck. That doesnt require much of a drop unless you've got tiny tires
The Megan V3's should easily eliminate any gap then. Even V2's could eliminate gap but couldn't tuck.....and the V3's can go lower than the V2's so you should be fine

yep, Way and I sell them for the same $850 plus $50 shipping and if you want the lower front springs it's another $75. Unless there's something I'm missing. Which is the lowest lowest price Megan allows.
