Here is my setup. Danny likes the front way low and I had him bump it up about 3/4 inch. Still drags the plastic just a little here and there.

I would post the picture here but I do not know how to do it.
If you e-mail me the pictures I can do it for you.

I plan on installing my Cross coilovers next week. The installation instructions are a bit sparse. I'm concerned about installing the rear adjuster cables so there is no binding or pinching. Any advice? Thanks

If you're in need of setup instructions, get a hold of the retailer you bought them from; they should have solid advice regarding damper body lengths, preload, starting points for damper firmness, and camber settings.

Regarding the rear adjuster, make a mark with a sharpie where the center of the shock body shaft is while at ride height with the axis extended upwards to the chassis. It is on a bit offset versus where the shock mounts to the chassis. Drill a pilot hole about a 1/2", but plan on drilling out either a slot or a big hole to allow the cable to clear the chassis over the entire suspension travel range. I wish I made a template when I did it on my car, as it would be helpful for others [MINI still in winter storage, grr]. Be patient, measure and mark twice and cut once!

Call Danny at minicorsa per Jan. He has done a few of these and does the installs for Jan. Let me know when you get these installed. Also you could call Jan, who will get you intouch with his buddy at Cross.

Danny installed mine but did not install the adjusters.

COR BLMY wrote instructions which should explain and show what to do. The coilovers are similar

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ight=coilovers

I hAven't installed mine but when time allows maybe I'll try. I just hate cutting into the car and it appears there is no alternative.

You don't have to cut a hole in the car. You can take the long way and remove the shock every time you want to make an adjustment. *flashback to adjusting the Koni Yellows*

the north American president of JIC didn't even install the adjusters in his R56, he said there's too much in he way (especially with hi fi and that amp there). If you don't install the adjusters the installation is extremely easy, just replace the stock shock assemblies and front endlinks with the jic units.

Thanks for the info.. Since I do track days I like the ability to make quick adjustments. I don't mind making a hole or two. Checked out COR BLMY's excellent write up and have Jan & Danny's phone #s close by.

After tracking the car this last weekend (and the car performed spectacularly!) I'm going to try installing the rear adjustment cables when I get a chance. It was just way too much of a pain to remove the rear shock to make an adjustment. Other than that, it was great. Posted times that would haveput me roughly midpack of the lotus challenge series that was running the same weekend, so I felt pretty satisfied

I drilled the holes for the rear cable adjusters today, it was a pretty simple, straight-forward job. No problems at all, not sure why they recommend not doing it for the R56. The only problem is I over tightened the lower bolt connecting the coilovers to the hub assembly and can't find a thread repair kit in the right size!

Guess I'll be waiting a while to drive her again...

The desciption says it lowers from a range of .5" to 2.5" It doesn't say anything about stock height or higher.

It'd be nice to raise up and do some offroading haha.

Have you added adjustable lower control arms?

Have any of you who've installed Cross coilovers also installed adjustable rear lower control arms to help in setting the rear camber you want?

If so, whose control arms have you installed, and why that brand?
