Would lowering the car with H&R Springs void the warranty?

The warranty? No, why would they? Lowering springs keep the car within the stock damper range of travel, so there is no reason to have any issues with reliability. Don't forget the dealership has a legal obligation to prove undoubtedly that the aftermarket parts you added caused a failure. Simply installing aftermarket parts is no grounds for a unilateral warranty voiding for all car systems.

If they could prove that the lowering springs caused the failure of a car part, they would not cover it. I don't believe that it is an issue to be concerned with when considering lowering springs.

All the dealer has to say is "your aftermarket product or the installation of it caused the problem" and your ***** out of luck. I tried dealing with Daimler Chrysler over a blown motor with a aftermarket air cleaner. They denied, I threatened law suit, they said "bring it on" with a smile.
BMW-Mini doesnt have to prove anything!

It seems a bit much to re-install your suspension to get a turn signal replaced under warranty.

I was thinking the same! Even if it was a DIY job, it'd still be a ton of time, rather than money, wasted.

If your shocks get blown, you're going to need to pay for them. Otherwise I think everything else would be fine.

Have fun,
Josh

Might as well go with Koni shocks because they come with a lifetime warranty.

Problem is the Koni's I want (FSD) aren't recommended with any type of lowering springs.

I'm sure bilstiens will be out for our cars sooner or later, digressive valving rocks, had it on my mustang before the mini. Similar to konis fsd in effect.

Wells looks like in that respect I'll be doing the same as you - waiting for the right mods. I've also heard great things about Bilstein dampers, so that's good news.
