Suspension Gallery! Show me your lowered MINI!
Kcle730,
Thanks for the compliment.
I'm running KSport Airtech Pro Air Suspension System. This summer, after the rain season is gone, I'll be working on lowering it more lower. As for my wheels, I am currently running 16"x8" rims on 195/40/r16, so I'm thinking of getting 15"x8" on 175/45/r15 (45 series because they don't make 40 series for 15" rims). This will give me an extra 1/4" drop so the fender-well's will touch down on the rims. I'm not sure how I am going to accomplish this, because the front bumper is already touching the ground. If I go any lower on the front, I will have to modify the front bumper and the front raidiator hose to prevent the raidiator from getting damaged when I set "her" on the ground.

Mini Coop,
When I have it low (40-psi per airbag) it rides smooth, but with the low-pro tires I can still feel every little bump on the road especially the potholes. Los Angeles, CA (aka: Pothole City)
When I have it up high (90+psi per airbag) it rides very, very bouncy; this is because the airbags are doing most of the heavy lifting not the shocks. However, when it's up high if feels like am riding on a pillow, or better yet a waterbed! It's very soft, but to bouncy for me.
I normally have it up at 65+psi per airbag, about stock high. This way I can get in and out of driveways without scraping up my chassie.
In the pictures that I posted, the airbags are at 12psi per airbag.

Pa.now,
Nice setup!
Are your rims white? They look white or are they silver but look white because of the camera flash/picture lighting?
I'm digging that color! What color is your MINI, it looks red with a hint of magenta to it?
I re-posted your pic a bit larger so I can see it without having to wear my glasses! L

I'm not much for gold rims. Having said that, GOOD LORD!!! The wheels really pop and the ride looks awesome. Well done!
"Thank You Sir, may I have another?" I just knew this was a west coast ride
. Excellent job
