I'm running 450 lb.in front 350 rear... and they're 17s and i didn't want to lower the car any more... since i live in an area of bumps galore and curbs made for escalades, lowering would be a BAD choice beyond what i have now :P

but ur wheels look like 19's and so big to me

and ur 225/40s should have more sidewall then my 215/35's but ur tires look nonexistant!

Do you rub at all? and do you have any close up pics of the tires on the wheel? Just curious to know if 225/40/18 fits on 18x8 w/ a drop.

I rubbed alot at first but my arches are pretty much trimmed down at this point along with two sets of rear arch lights. You'll be fine with those sizes but depending on your wheel offset you may need spacers to prevent the wheel rubbing against the front strut and rear trailing arm.

 

Anyone lowered with springs on 16"?? and maybe with JCW aero kit?

Hey Rally, did you redo the wood grain since H2O? It looked a lot lighter when I saw it in person, or is it just the lighting? Also, did you end up installing those balljoint extenders? The front looks like it's lower. It's looking focking amazing.

 

Just needs some JCW skirts and it would look perfect!

Thanks for the compliments. I managed to get the front a little lower, but I haven't managed to find a source for balljoint extenders. My subframe is 1-2mm off the ground. The balljoint extenders should be just enough to get the car on the ground. I just hope I can find a company that will offer the right parts.

I haven't changed the wood, it just shifts colors like crazy in the sun because I gave it a super bright gold undercoat and then topcoated with a partially transparent brown. In bright sunlight it gets really light, and then in low light it almost matches the bodycolor in darkness.
