Bump stop question

Yes I did a search.
I am installing H-Sport springs on my 04 MCS. I got these used without the H-sport supplied bump stops. I have found info on cutting the front OEM bump stops, but have not seen anything on cutting the rears. Is it necessary / recommended to cut the rears and if so how much?
I have sent a couple of emails to Hotchkis and Detroit Tuned but have gotten no response.
Thanks,
Jason

IMHO? Cut both front and rear in half... It's highly unlikely that you'd ever be on your rear bumpstops, but go ahead anyway.

Thanks. I have already put them on. I cut the fronts in half but left the rears alone. I hope I don't have any problems, but if I need to redo the rears it's easy enough.

One more thing. Does it matter which way the front bumpstops go back on once cut? Does the cut side go up or down, or does it matter?

Thanks,
Jason

Won't matter which way they are oriented...

If you hit the stops in the rear, you'll know it - then you can trim them if needed.
