I wasn't being mean. Or at least not trying to. Due to the irony, the error was quite funny. I did start the Grammar Police thread, but I'm not perfect either.

I'm really not sensitive! I'm actually kind of a jerk. Or so my wife tells me.

The typos in this club are too funny. I don't think you'd want me as a member... unless you need a heckler. Just make sure you get a good editor for your club newsletter!

I was under my car tonight. On my way home the flex donut connection between my OBX header and my Milltek came loose. My car sounded like a tractor. I double nutted it and all is well.

I am up for a meet anytime AFTER this weekend, I have to go to Arizona and be a good parent Its Parents Weekend at UofA Tuscon.

In other words I have to drive ~1000 miles in a non-Mini (I think we are taking the BMW 325i ), cart a whole pileof stuff including my reserve set of clubs for my son and a network card, and a switch, and some CASH and......

You get the idea.

The following weekend is the big mini one ?

So any time after that I am up for a meeting.......

Okay, without our own forum, it may be a little difficult to organize this meet. On the other hand, if we can pull this off, I am confident that the SSOCMCC will thrive.
I'm going to start a new thread for this meet. Please help me draw attention to it guys. I'm counting on you!

Announcement

Some of you have asked me, so:

The SSOCMCC is free to join...for now. I don't plan on charging membership fees until we have 20 members. At that point, we will have to re-evaluate whether or not to be a free club. I don't have a strong inclination to charge, however, if we decide to have shirts, stickers and all that, we may charge a one year fee of $20. Does this sound okay to the rest of you?

I survive AZ, and we took the MINI, add another 1100 miles to the count......

 

Wow, that's a long trip. What part of AZ? I love the Flagstaff area.

 

We travelled from RSM to Tucson, and well, obviously, back again !

475 miles from home, plus running around while we where there.

Lots of fun and lots of chance to allow the MINI to stretch her legs a little

 

Glad to here you made the trip safe. I bet it was beautiful on your drive. It sure was here. My wife and I drove around the canyons today just enjoying the scenery.
