I was born in Hoag in '78. Born with a view of the Pacific.

You're in.

It certainly can't be beat. My four kids were all born there and that view is to die for !!!

South Coast in Laguna is another super-view hospital.

Same for me as well. But I "was" born at Hoag in 67.

It looks like this thing could really become a reality.

With seven members, it looks like this is going to happen. I am pretty pleased with that. We should start thinking about meeting up at the Fisherman soon. I'm still trying to find someone to help me make a club badge.

We have a badge!

Our friend was kind enough to make one for each model. MC MCS MCC MCSC. Pretty cool, isn't it?

Here is the MCS badge...and all of the other badges. Can someone re-size these things? I'm at a loss.

I live in LA right now. I'm originally from Newport, and I will be moving to San Clemente in Jan.

Uh...those badges are HUGE, not exactly "mini". I like the orange. Very cool looking badges.

Okay, our super-cool designer re-sized the badges for us! Lets all say a big "THANK YOU!" to our designer (who wishes to remain anonymous).

So...I'm thinking that these would look pretty cool on a dark blue t-shirt...

Know anywhere I can get black pudding and fried egg sandwhiches, preferably served with a steaming mug of tea ???

Perhaps that could be the initiation 'test'

Ability to make / eat the above for Sunday 'brunch'

My Mom (Mum) used to make us eat black pudding. I didn't like it as a kid, but I don't mind it now.

The Falconer in Portland, OR was my favorite place for English eats. For Irish food, Muldoons in Newport is splendid. Hey, maybe that would be a good place for our first club meeting!!!

I'm a little hesitant to start building new forums when a club is still in the discussion phase and hasn't started doing things like planning a first get together or having a drive yet.

Right now, if I built the forum and move this thread there, you may not actually get that much traffic, because the "club" hasn't really established itself yet. While things are forming, I think the SoCal forum may be your best bet for getting the most exposure.

Once the club starts having events, then I'll be happy to build a forum out for it.

Thanks Dave,

You make perfect sence. We definitely need the exposure for now. ma78 tells me we have 7 official members including ourselves. We have a feeling it might grow fast.
