ok, I have a cooper cvt and it brand new, I have 600 miles on it, adn I've noticed some issues witht he idle..
the car seem to idle above 1000rpm and has a very low loud growl that you can barely hear yourself talk if you standing still with the car on,, secodn teh car seem to shake a bit at slow speed, esspecially stop and go like DC traffic.. don't know if this is an engine or abs thing, btu I get teh feelignof small lurching...
third is that when the car is in reverse it tends to buck as oppose top pullign away smoothly, no matter howgently I am on the pedal... Has anybody else expeirenced this.. is this sjtu the car or am I paranoid.., or is there fix for this and I have soem legitamite claims.

let me guess about the idle issue, did you have the A/C on?
it tends to up the rpm's when the A/C is on at idle, to prevent the stalling issues that people were having.
this is not a bug!
do get the software updated though, it has had good effects on some cvt's!
