MINI logo on key

On the 05' Keys, there is a little round "Mini" Logo that is stuck on in the middle of the wings. Has anyone else had this sticker fall off??? Mine did two days ago. Can they be bought somewhere??? I really don't want to drive all the way to the dealership to have them replace.

That just happened to me, too! It looks terrible, like I have a "fake" key, or something. I'll have to go get mine replaced, in the meantime, I swapped keys with my wife so I could still be sporting the MINI name.

yup - the same here, and by now on both keys. talked to the dealer and they want to replace the whole key(es) including reprogramming the computer and all ... that is INSANE.
I hope the OEm factory opens a back door to get those stickers out into the market ...

So my key has joined the ranks of the logoless. Any updates on finding a source for the sticker part?

I have just noticed this problem on one of my keys also. I has started to lift from the bottom. My '06 MCS is an October 2005 build.

I'm pretty OCD about putting the keys where they cannot be easily damaged (such as pants pockets), and I've barely cracked 25K miles, so I don't know how it can be coming loose so easily.

I still have 1.5 years of warranty left... on the car. Has anyone had MINI replace their key for this problem?

Yes, warranty should cover this.

Mine got something wrong with the remote, not 100% working, Mini will order another key for you then get it replaced by next service visit.

The little logo dammit came off my key today and I got it stuck back on for now. The second key is still missing its logo and hangs in shame on the key hook. Has anybody found a source for these yet? Any vendors out there? I am NOT buying a new key just to replace a 5c sticker that might fall off.

MINI replaced mine under warranty, no questions asked. I just spoke with the SA (they had to order one in), and then the next time I was in for service they programmed the new key in.

Did you try ebay? Just get a key and change the sticker to your key.

Someone else also pointed me in the direction of ebay. The bid price was over $10.00 plus $5.00 shipping. In the great cosmic scheme of things, the cost far exceeds the value. The lock button works so, I'll just get used to it without the pretty. Never the less, thank you for the input.
