i posted this in interiors but just gotta spout off some here too. who's got the alta gauge pod? if so you're none too happy about your wires lookin' al sh$tty in the back of the gauges are you? well now ... just go get some 2" pvc pipe and cut to length ;add a plug (pvc) sand all to be round ;glue up ; sand some more and paint a nice flat black. solder up your wires using some nice jacketed 5 conductor; drill holes in the back pass the wires through; mount all to alta pod and sand the pod lightl and spray all flat black again. i put the tubes in the pod then painted; then wired; then dropped the gauges in last . but i type so slow i didn't wanna type it all again . i'll try to post some pics but i'm really quite computer illiterate. i can say i'm very happy with the look. it looks like factory type stuff' you'd never know it's $h!t vent pipe.
