DSC Warning Light

Our "06" Mini is scheduled Wed. for service. The DSC light came on and will go off when you first start the Mini. After about 2 miles it comes back on. The manual switch does not work on DSC....
Also have noticed twice the flat tire indicator light has come on.."no flat"...
Car is 9K on it....

If the DSC is blinking, its doing it job. If it on solid, it might be a bad sensor.

The flat tire indicator just sense difference in wheel spin (its not a real pressure gauge as in TSPM). If all four wheels aren't spinning at the same right, it will go on. Just reset it.

If BOTH DSC and flat tire light come on solid together ... may be a sensor. That happened to me once. Shut the car off, turned it back on. no lights but very irritating such quirks.

Hmm, I would take it easy until Wed. when you take in into service, that way if there is a problem, you won't hurt it worse, nor will you take the risk of hurting yourself.

My wife is driving it now..She babies the thing..We spoke to service adviser. He thought bad sensor.....The tire running light was on the first time over 100 miles...2 nd time 25 miles. It went back to normal. About three weeks after that (Friday) The DSC light came on. One it is on it will stay on until you turn car off.
