I installed a 15% pully and an alta cai yesterday. Today when I started the car up it ran great and is still running great. However after about 30 minutes of driving my ses light came on.

I took it to auto zone and they read the obd-II error and said it was error code P0444.

Which i found was an EVAP CONTROL PURGE VALVE C OPEN
error.

I was very carefull when lifting the engine watching for wires and vacume tubes that could have been pinched and whatnot so this leaves me a little confused.

any advice?

check the purge valve, is the one by the left side of the intercooler. is round/black with 2 plastic connections. one on top and one on the bottom.

see if by any chance those are not plugged in all the way. it also has a 3 wire connector underneath it, see if that is connected all the way. good luck!

 

the 3 wire connector shook it's way loose. Right on the money thanks for the help... Wish u were my sa to be honest
