steering to the right

I have an '06 MCS with JCW engine, suspension, 18" wheels, stock tires. It's got < 4000 miles. I noticed it tends to want to steer to the right. That is, if I let go of the steering wheel the steering wheel goes to the right and the car goes to the right, as opposed to the steering wheel being centered and the car pulling to the right. The dealer tells me that this is because the roads are crowned and the tight suspension causes the car to steer in the "down" direction.

I'm suspicious but I haven't found a good spot/time where I can put the car the wrong way down a road to test this.

Is this normal or should I take it to another dealer and see what they say?

The car will follow the crown of the road. It might also tramline (follow the grooves).

Go on an interstate and get in the middle lane. It should be fairly flat with equal downslope and both sides. IF it still pulls, then its an alignment issue probably.

BTW, its not going to track true forever ...
