I know that the flags are basically red and blue with clear where the white would be, but is there a flag out there that could be applied very carefully on a mini with a sun roof?

Yes, it's 6'' x 3''. if it's any bigger, your sunroof will look like a trellis. Ron

I was told by my dealer it couldn't be done... I wanted a Polish flag which is quite simple, (white/red) but my dealer said the sunroof ruined the idea!

Yes, you can apply a see-through vynle (sp?) to the glass. It works just like window tint. You can go to a custom shop in any majore city. It shouldn't cost you more than $200.

Well then, since I don't live by any major city, or have many custom shops, maybe the next time I'm in Boston, i'll see what i can do!

I just sent a note off to the CarVogue site to find out how much it would cost to have shipped to the US. I wanted a flag but wanted the sunroof more. If this is like appling tint, than it won't be that hard, I've tinted windows before. I asked them about that as well. I will post as soon as I find out from them.

OK, here it is the Car flag for the sunroof is ₤217.00 GB, at today’s exchange rate that equals $330.783 US. They do ship daily to the US. This is for the perforated version so you can still see out the window above. Now if you want the vinyl version (blocks out the sun completely) it is ₤136.63 GB = $208.246 US. I don't know what he means by carriage is ₤27 .00 GB = $45.1515 US

Does anybody remember how much the flags are from the dealership? Knowing they don't have a version for the sunroof.

I'm considering buying from these guys to put on the sunroof. They did tell me that the principles of applying tint apply to the flags.

I'm guessing the carriage fee is the shipping cost... sort of like the cartage fee...

Carvogue's roof decals cover more of the roof than the dealer decals, making them IMHO nicer. You get more of a painted on effect. Worth the extra coin if you ask me! Now if they only did the Royal Scotish flag in perforated...
