All of a sudden 'my 05 MCS seems possesed! When you start the car:

The Nav Warning Screen does not appear - it goes straight to the maps. If you press the menu button it takes about five seconds for anything to happen.

The Turn Signals click, but not in an even cadence

The Sirius radio gets some stations, but the display always reads Raw Dog 104 (gross!). If you hold down the button to give you the ESN it says "No ESN".

Pressing the power button for the radio (HK) doesn't always turn it off.

Is there some master reset thing I can do or something?

 

Morning After Update:

I reset the computer per the instructions over on MINI2 ( http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f..._obc_functions ) but it appeared to have no effect. I was going to disconnect the battery next and see if that worked.

It was too late to fuss with the battery last night, but when I got in the car this AM, everything was working perfectly - with one added benefit. The "nag screen" you get with the NAV no longer appears. It goes straight to the map!

I had to reset the clock, but that was it. All of my radio presets remained.

seriously, I'm stumpped.. has anything been added to the car prior to this acting up?

 

The last thing was the MCAW module, but that was over a month ago. There has never been a problem with that.

BTW...two days ago the Nav returned to normal...it now goes to the nag screen first.

 

Weird issues.... I had the nag screen but rolled back to an earlier firmware version and then back to the latest to set it to Europe mode. Now, no nag screen.
