I feel that oil and filter changes should be performed more frequently than recommended by BMW, since there seems to be a problem with premature transmission failure. I feel that $65+ $28 to accomplish the filter change is too expensive. Of course, $7000 for a new trans is too expensive(understatement!). Just the same, I am looking for a more reasonable price for the filter. -Jeffy.
